Tyson Fury<\/a> has taken to social media to lay out what he intends to do in the ring in the coming years.<\/p>\n

Right now, Fury is without a world title, having lost his WBC strap to Oleksandr Usyk back in early 2024. In the rematch at the end of the year, he took a second consecutive points loss and then decided to retire and spend all of 2025 on the sidelines.<\/p>\n

He returned to the ring in April, defeating tough Russian Arslanbek Makmudov over 12 rounds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.<\/p>\n

Following that win, it was announced that he and long time British rival Anthony Joshua had finally signed a deal to fight one another later this year, once Joshua has got past Kristian Prenga in July.<\/a><\/p>\n

In a new post on Instagram,<\/a> \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 has suggested that he then intends to target becoming a three-time world champion, made easier by his ranking as the WBC\u2019s number one contender.<\/p>\n

Some fans have questioned how a win over Makhmudov immediately puts Fury back in the number one spot, especially given that before that, he took two losses to Usyk, who still holds the famous green and gold belt.<\/p>\n

There may be little appetite for a trilogy fight between the two, and the Ukrainian might not even hold the belt by the time Fury looks to challenge for it. Instead, interim champion Agit Kabayel believes he will soon be upgraded after he was mandated to fight Usyk, but says he gets the feeling the Ukrainian will vacate.<\/p>\n

Fury and Kabayel have a close relationship under the same management. The undefeated German has said in the past that \u2018The Gypsy King\u2019 is one of the only men in the division he would rather not face.<\/p>\n

All of this talk is redundant for now, however, as Fury\u2019s immediate Fury is a warm-up fight, potentially in August, before the big one against Joshua in November.<\/p>\n
