\n The hit cosy crime drama, set and filmed in Marlow, will return with six new episodes \u2013 bringing more mystery to one of the county\u2019s most recognisable towns.\n<\/p>\n
\n The show will once again air in the UK on U and U&Drama, with international broadcasts on PBS Masterpiece.\n<\/p>\n
\n Filming is set to begin in and around Marlow once again, with the Thames-side town firmly at the heart of the show.\n<\/p>\n
\n The series, based on the novels by Death in Paradise creator Robert Thorogood, has become a firm favourite with viewers since it first aired in 2024.\n<\/p>\n
\n And now fans can look forward to more twists, secrets and suspicious deaths in the picturesque Buckinghamshire setting.\n<\/p>\n
\n Leading the cast once again is Samantha Bond as crossword-setter Judith Potts, alongside Jo Martin as dog walker Suzie Harris and Cara Horgan as vicar\u2019s wife Becks Starling.\n<\/p>\n
\n The trio will reunite with DI Tanika Malik, played by Natalie Dew, as they continue to use their unconventional methods to crack cases across the town.\n<\/p>\n
\n The new series will follow the now-familiar format of three two-part mysteries \u2013 blending humour with classic whodunnits.\n<\/p>\n
\n Viewers can expect plenty of drama. The upcoming series begins with the discovery of a body in the river, said to be linked to the Marlow Amateur Dramatics Society and a Hollywood star.\n<\/p>\n
\n Other storylines include a suspicious death at a wake and a vineyard owner found drowned in his own wine.\n<\/p>\n
\n As ever, it will be up to the amateur sleuths to unravel secrets hidden beneath the town\u2019s postcard-perfect surface.\n<\/p>\n
\n The show continues to shine a spotlight on Marlow itself, with filming taking place across well-known locations including the River Thames, Marlow High Street and local landmarks.\n<\/p>\n
\n Its creator has previously described the town as the \u201cperfect setting\u201d, with its idyllic look providing a sharp contrast to the darker storylines.\n<\/p>\n
\n Producers say they are \u201cdelighted to be back in Marlow for a fourth time\u201d, promising another \u201ctwisty\u201d set of mysteries packed with intrigue and heart.\n<\/p>\n
\n The new series will also include an adaptation of Thorogood\u2019s novel Murder on the Marlow Belle, alongside brand new stories written for TV.\n<\/p>\n
\n The six-part drama is expected to return to UK screens in 2027.\n<\/p>\n
