Pearl Abyss<\/p>\n
Pearl Abyss laid out Crimson Desert\u2019s second roadmap<\/a> this week, the last one having been completed about two months ahead of schedule due to how fast the developer works. Now, barely a few days later, Crimson Desert has released another patch <\/a>covering some of those items.<\/p>\n Here are the big new additions to the game via this patch, including the game\u2019s most significant new mount to date.<\/p>\n New ContentWyvern \u2013 You can now use Wyverns as mounts, which you may remember from the mountain climbing sidequest in the game. To do this, you need a Baby Wyvern that you feed and grow until it is a full-on Wyvern, which you can then register as a mount.<\/p>\n Crimson Desert<\/p>\n Pearl AbyssKuku Bird \u2013 This is another mount you will grow from a Kuku Bird Chick, and when it gets big enough, it can be registered as a mount. Your very own Chocobo.Re-Blockade \u2013 For certain fortresses and strongholds, it\u2019s no longer just an automatic takeover, as there are now more stages like Battle and Reconstruct. You can also ask for \u201cProtection\u201d by spending contributions to make sure certain places don\u2019t get taken over. There are now actual rewards for these blockade battles, including contribution, provisions, trade goods and other items.Minigames \u2013 Pinball is at the Delesyian Institute and Orb Roll is at the Great Gate of Urdavah. Both reward furniture, crafting recipes, artifact chests, Abyss Artifacts and more.Carpet \u2013 A new category of decorations. Some dye vendors will have them, among other sources.Cat Tower \u2013 Go find it at Furlington Farm in the Azerian Estate. Yes, a cat tower.Sigil of Valor \u2013 Can be equipped on dogs and baby Wyverns. In the next patch, it will apply to the Iron Eagle and Phoenix as well, meaning they will fight alongside you in battles.Combat ChangesBlackstar the dragon now has a ground attack.Damiane\u2019s damage in unarmed combat has been adjusted. I\u2019m not clear on whether this is a nerf or buff.<\/p>\n Crimson Desert<\/p>\n Pearl AbyssNormal arrows are now used when Replenishing Arrows run out.UI ChangesMission Dispatch is no longer region-based but mission-based.Improvements to photo mode UIA new level of growth UI has been added so you can see the growth level of pets and horses.<\/p>\n Some good changes in there, particularly to the blockade system, and the addition of the Wyvern mount is a big deal.
