{"id":623184,"date":"2026-06-05T19:18:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T19:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/623184\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T19:18:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T19:18:09","slug":"associate-of-manchester-synagogue-attacker-admits-terrror-charge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/623184\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate of Manchester synagogue attacker admits terrror charge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Detectives discovered that earlier that year Bashir had taken Al-Shamie on a long drive from Manchester to Oxfordshire to do a reconnaissance on the Academy, which trains personnel from the British military and Civil Service as well as foreign students.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">They stopped at the site for just 13 minutes and returned home the same day, a journey of 10 hours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Bashir went to Pakistan following the synagogue attack, but was arrested at Manchester Airport when he returned.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Detectives were able to analyse both Bashir&#8217;s phone and one belonging to Al Shamie.
