If you weren\u2019t already planning to tune in today but love a good fight, you might want to set aside some time today, because Billam-Smith vs Rozicki has strong action potential. The show from Bournemouth will also feature another cruiserweight matchup between Jack Massey and Cheavon Clarke, plus more.<\/p>\n

Officially a TKO, but that\u2019s because the referee rightly made no count. Make no mistake, Tompkins (4-1, 1 KO) was knocked out. Hickey (5-0, 2 KO) is a Scottish middleweight prospect, 26 years old so a bit old for where he\u2019s at, but they\u2019re marketing that as him being a \u201clate bloomer.\u201d They\u2019re also marketing him being handsome, which is useful as long as the guy can fight at the end of the day. This was low-level, make no mistake about that, but it was a great KO.<\/p>\n

Dychko, now 35, fights like he hasn\u2019t actually cared about boxing since losing to Joe Joyce in the Olympics 10 years ago. His debatable loss to Jermaine Franklin last September was awful to watch, and this bout with a game but way under-powered club fighter wasn\u2019t any better. Worse, arguably. Dykes (7-1-1, 0 KO) went down in the first round but otherwise was safe enough, no urgency out of Dychko (16-1, 14 KO), the 6\u20199\u201d Kazakh whose pro career has never really gotten out of the gate and isn\u2019t gonna. Dychko\u2019s upside at this point is probably \u201cTyson Fury tune-up,\u201d which hey, that\u2019s a payday. Anyway, it was an atrocious fight. Really miserable to watch. Saying it resembled sparring would be kind.<\/p>\n
