Willie Peters has had his say on the \u2018stop-start\u2019 nature of Saturday\u2019s loss to Wakefield Trinity with the Hull KR coach also addressing the red card for prop Sauaso Sue.<\/p>\n

Fresh off their Wembley loss, Hull KR looked like they were going to edge out Wakefield Trinity but a 78th-minute Mason Lino try saw Trinity win 26-24 in a game that was filled with contentious moments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Numerous captain\u2019s challenges, lengthy video reviews<\/a>, two sin bins and two red cards led to the game lasting over two hours and when asked about the officiating, Peters held back when speaking post-match to BBC Radio Humberside<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a very stop-start game, wasn\u2019t it,\u201d Peters responded when asked about the officials.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll leave that to other people to decide but it was a long game.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe decisions, the cards, were they worthy? Possibly, I\u2019d need to have a good look at them. It was just a long sort of game.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Willie Peters said about the red card for Hull KR<\/p>\n

Former Hull KR man Matty Storton was sent off for Wakefield on the hour mark with the Robins set to have a man advantage for the final 20 minutes, however, prop forward Sauaso \u2018Jesse\u2019 Sue landed a swinging arm that saw him sent off just minutes later.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to have a good look at it, I did see that he swung his arm,\u201d Peters said when asked about the decision, adding:\u00a0\u201cThe ref has obviously seen it and then the video ref has agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cJesse is upset in the dressing room at the moment but he\u2019s a valuable part to what we do.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not in his character to do it deliberately but he unfortunately has been sent off and he accepts that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sue was part of a much-changed forward pack with Willie Peters making three changes as Jack Brown, who has since left to join Castleford, Dean Hadley (HIA) and Bill Leyland all dropped out.<\/p>\n

Explaining those calls and their replacements, Peters said:\u00a0\u201cJai\u00a0 (Whitbread) obviously came back in, he had his baby boy during the week so he came back in and Jordan (Dezaria), I wanted to give an opportunity. He and Karl Lawton came in so it was just to freshen it up a little b it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe started Karl in the back-row, usually Dean is that person, but I thought he brought some energy to the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cJez, we looked at him to play the full game. He got a bang to the knee but he got back on.\u201d<\/p>\n

The only other injury concern that Rovers may have is that Sam Luckley had a \u2018niggle\u2019, which Peters revealed to be a result of a longstanding knee issue.<\/p>\n
