Xbox flagship franchise Halo will make its PS5 debut in just seven weeks.<\/p>\n

Microsoft has attached a 28th July release date to Halo: Campaign Evolved<\/a>, the remake of the single player mode from Bungie\u2019s iconic first-person shooter, Halo: Combat Evolved<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019ll be no competitive multiplayer in this version of the game, the remake will feature two-player split-screen co-op and four-player online co-op, with crossplay support.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The title will also be updated to take full advantage of the PS5\u2019s various advantages, including the DualSense controller<\/a> and PS5 Pro.<\/p>\n

In addition to all-new visuals, enhanced cinematics, and revised gameplay, this version of the game will feature three all-new prequel missions featuring Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson.<\/p>\n

The blurb reveals:<\/p>\n

After crash landing on a mysterious ringworld known as Halo, the Master Chief is tasked with helping the remaining humans survive against overwhelming Covenant forces. Alongside his AI companion Cortana, he uncovers Halo\u2019s dark secrets and fights to avert the annihilation of all life in the galaxy.<\/p>\n
