What is\u00a0Gary Windass<\/a>\u00a0(Mikey North<\/a>) hiding from his wife Maria Connor<\/a>? (Samia Longchambon<\/a>) A murder\u2026 or an affair with his ex?<\/p>\n

Gary\u2019s already looking pretty suspicious.<\/p>\n

The bad boy builder is already prime suspect for killing abusive monster\u00a0Theo Silverton<\/a>\u00a0(James Cartwright<\/a>) \u2013 mainly because he smashed up his van with a sledgehammer and sent him a text with the words \u2018I\u2019M COMING FOR YOU\u2019. Yikes.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t exactly help Gary\u2019s case that he\u2019s already got blood on his hands, namely the accidental death of Rana Habeeb (Bhavna Limbachia)<\/a>, and killing ruthless loan shark Rick Neelan (Greg Wood) in self-defence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gary doesn\u2019t like bullies, therefore he definitely doesn\u2019t appreciate the fact that Theo acted like a trusted mate and employee, while mentally and physically abusing \u00a0Todd Grimshaw<\/a>\u00a0(Gareth Pierce<\/a>)\u00a0behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

Although the police don\u2019t currently have enough evidence for an arrest, it\u2019s clear from Carla and Lisa\u2019s wedding photos that Mister Windass was definitely near the murder scene that night \u2013 and his behaviour has been downright suspicious<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If he wasn\u2019t killing Theo, what was he doing that night? Whatever it was, it might have something to do with Gary\u2019s former girlfriend,Sarah Platt<\/a>\u00a0(Tina O\u2019Brien<\/a>). That\u2019s certainly the popular theory amongst die-hard Corrie fans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before his marriage to Maria, Gary had a long and passionate on-again-off -again relationship with Sarah from 2016 to 2019, ended by his descent into criminality.<\/p>\n

Since then, they\u2019ve managed to stay friends and have grown close again. Maybe a little too close.<\/p>\n

The pair have been having a few private chats recently, ever since the night of Theo\u2019s murder \u2013 when Sarah was attacked by Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown). <\/p>\n

Just to make this even more juicy, Sarah is currently dating DS Kit Green<\/a>\u00a0(Jacob Roberts<\/a>), who is investigating the murder and is already suspicious of Gary<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So far, Maria has stood by her man. She even provided him with a false alibi to cover up the fact he smashed up Theo\u2019s van, claiming they were having \u201cprivate time\u201d at the builder\u2019s yard. <\/p>\n

However, that may be all set to change if she discovers that Gary\u2019s been playing away with Sarah\u2026<\/p>\n
