Fans of Coronation Street<\/a> believe they’ve rumbled an unexpected affair involving Megan Walsh.<\/p>\n

ITV<\/a> soap viewers will know that youngster Will Driscoll (played by Lucas Hodgson-Wale) was groomed by evil teacher Megan (Beth Nixon<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The pair began their relationship in Hull, before secretly continuing to see each other after Will moved to Weatherfield with his family. Megan later fell pregnant with Will’s child, before having an abortion.<\/p>\n

Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) found out about Megan and Will’s relationship<\/a>, with the predator soon threatening the youngster to keep quiet. Sam eventually told the truth, leading to Megan’s arrest. She has since been released on bail, and has been keeping a low profile.<\/p>\n

But now, some Corrie fans are convinced that Megan will become a central character again in an unexpected new affair storyline. A number of viewers believe she could begin a secret affair with fellow villain Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown).<\/p>\n

Shona Platt’s (Julia Goulding) younger sister has also been causing trouble on the street in recent months. She notably lured her brother-in-law, David (Jack P Shepherd), into bed by pretending to be Shona, and attacked David’s sister, Sarah (Tina O’Brien), on the night of Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) murder.<\/p>\n

That’s not all, as Jodie also started an online hate campaign against Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), while acting as a confidante to him.<\/p>\n

Could an unexpected romance blossom between the two villains?<\/p>\n

On the possibility of an affair between Megan and Jodie, one person wrote on Reddit: “What if Megan and Jodie became a lesbian couple? They are made for each other.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “It would be a total car crash and I honestly kind of want to see it,” while a third said: “Hmm interesting!”<\/p>\n

A fourth viewer commented: “Too much drama. They’d end up killing each other,” with someone else sharing: “I’m awful surprised we haven’t had a Megan and Jodie scene yet. [They are] both deluded, both causing children to be bullied, they would be made for each other.”<\/p>\n

In scenes set to air next week, Will walks straight into a trap set by Megan, after she poses as one of his old running friends from Hull.<\/p>\n

In the Freshco car park, Will waits around for his friend Lee, who he arranged to meet up with via text. But when Megan shows her face instead, Will realises he’s been played.<\/p>\n

“How horrifying for Will – he’s under the impression that he’s going to have a catch-up with one of his friends from Hull, then Megan suddenly appears behind him,” a Corrie insider told Inside Soap<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Will is well aware of how dangerous Megan is, so it’s not difficult to imagine how frightened he must feel. The question is, what on earth does Megan have to say to him? Keep your fingers crossed that Will shuts down whatever poison she is bound to come out with…”<\/p>\n
