A major A-road in Devon was blocked at rush hour after a reported motorbike crash this morning (Monday, June 8).<\/p>\n
The A380 Kings Ash Road was blocked southbound after a “car and bike crash” near Paignton, with traffic slow in the area.<\/p>\n
Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, reported the crash at 7.59am.<\/p>\n
It said: “A380 Kings Ash Road Southbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, a motorcycle and a car involved from Colley End Road to Waterleat Road. Also slowing opposite side due to onlookers.”<\/p>\n
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the scene after reports of a crash on “Kings Ash Road, Paignton, involving motorcycle and car”.<\/p>\n
However, when police arrived there was “no sign of a crash”.<\/p>\n
Traffic in the area cleared just before 10am.<\/p>\n
