Stormzy<\/a>, Wretch 32 and Oritse Williams<\/a> are among the artists who have paid tributes to Grammy-winning musician Talay Riley, who was stabbed to death in east London.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter, real name Mark Orabiyi, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with stab wounds by paramedics on the morning of 5 June.<\/p>\n

Riley worked on tracks for artists including Dua Lipa<\/a>, Chipmunk, Zendaya<\/a>, Khalid and Flo.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

His brother Michael Orabiyi, better known as record producer and songwriter Scribz Riley, wrote on Instagram: \u201cMy heart is shattered! This doesn\u2019t feel real. It feels like a bad dream.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust before he went to sleep we spoke about the future, staying positive and about everything we still had left to do. I never imagined that would be our last conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n

He described his brother as \u201ca friend to many, a mentor, an inspiration, and a light in so many people\u2019s lives\u201d, adding: \u201cHe had one of the purest hearts I\u2019ve ever known.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe loved deeply, gave freely, and touched countless people through his talent, kindness, and spirit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe outpouring of love already shows how many lives he impacted. You inspired so many people and your legacy will continue to live on through your music, your family, your friends, and everyone blessed enough to have known you.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to everyone who has reached out to me and my family, we appreciate you all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stormzy<\/a> commented on the post, \u201cI\u2019m sorry bro\u201d, while JLS star Williams wrote: \u201cSending you and your family strength and prayers in Jesus name my brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

British rapper Wretch 32 said: \u201cSending love to you & your family bro. Your brother was a gem & will be missed & never forgotten, Never! RIP.\u201d<\/p>\n

Orayibi worked on hits including Khalid\u2019s Young Dumb & Broke, The Chainsmokers\u2019 Who Do You Love, HER\u2019s Lights On, Flo\u2019s Walk Like This, and Kehlani\u2019s Out The Window.<\/p>\n

Kehlani wrote: \u201cBig hugs Scribs I\u2019m so sorry\u201d, while HER shared a hug emjoi. Khalid wrote: \u201cI\u2019m so sorry bro\u2026 I\u2019m sending you so much love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan wrote: \u201cSending my condolences and prayers, so very sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police were called at around 9am on June 5 to reports that a man had been stabbed in Pankhurst Avenue, Silvertown.<\/p>\n

Riley was found with stab wounds in the garden of a property in nearby Rayleigh Road.<\/p>\n

Three people were arrested on June 5 on suspicion of murder.<\/p>\n

A 27-year-old man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.<\/p>\n

After police questioning, a second man, aged 24, and a 25-year-old woman have been released with no further action.<\/p>\n

Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke, who is leading the Met\u2019s investigation, said: \u201cThis is a tragic incident and my thoughts remain with Mark\u2019s family and loved ones.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur investigation continues at pace. I would like to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident to speak to police.<\/p>\n
