He was scheduled to close out at the year at Worlds End but was pulled due to injury, had surgery, and hasn\u2019t been back since.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Now, <a href=\"http:\/\/fightfulselect.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fightful Select<\/a> brings word that there were actual discussions for his return months ago. Those plans, obviously, never came to fruition because if they had he would have been back by now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">It is not known if talks ever got as far as Lee himself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Further, he hasn\u2019t been a regular backstage at AEW television tapings.
