During a wide-ranging on-camera interview with NBC News Friday in Wisconsin, host Kristen Welker pressed Trump on his claims that California elections are \u201ccrooked\u201d<\/a> and riddled with Democratic \u201ccheating.\u201d<\/p>\n When the journalist asked the president to provide evidence for his claims, the exchange quickly unraveled. Trump told Welker \u201cyou\u2019re either crooked or you\u2019re stupid,\u201d before tearing off his microphone and walking off set.<\/p>\n Kimmel<\/a> played a clip of the confrontation for his Jimmy Kimmel Live audience Monday and joked: \u201cThis is why he mostly dated women that don\u2019t speak English.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if he was worried about the cotton candy on his head getting wet or he just didn\u2019t like the fact that he was being taken to task by a woman,\u201d Kimmel continued. \u201cEither way, their talk ended in a full blown Trumper tantrum.\u201d<\/p>\n The comedian then proceeded to air another clip from the Meet the Press sit-down \u2014 this time, with a few modifications apparently made with AI<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re crooked, and the press is crooked, and so is ABC, and CBS and CNN. You\u2019re one-sided, crooked networks\u2026Right, let\u2019s call it quits,\u201d Trump says in the clip. The camera then cuts to a wider shot, depicting the 79-year-old president without trousers, wearing a seemingly soiled diaper as he stands up and traipses off camera.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen that dinner bell rings, he\u2019s gone,\u201d Kimmel joked. \u201cCan you imagine any other president in the history of any other place doing that? That was a hissy fit.\u201d<\/p>\n White House spokesperson Davis Ingle dismissed the comedian\u2019s commentary.<\/p>\n \u201cNobody in their right mind cares what seriously unfunny Jimmy Kimmel thinks,\u201d Ingle told The Independent.<\/p>\n Shortly after the NBC interview, recorded in a Wisconsin barn, Trump told a crowd of supporters that he became upset on account of the weather<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was raining. And it was with NBC fake news,\u201d the president said. \u201cAnd because it was raining, I got a little bit angry at them. I was not happy with them. But we had a good time.\u201d<\/p>\n Kimmel and Trump have traded barbs for years.
