Roll up, roll up Sunderland! It’s time to go back to The Circus with Take That and we’ll be bringing you all the build up, latest updates, key moments and photos from Tuesday night’s show at the Stadium of Light.<\/p>\n
It was in the summer of 2009 that Take That first took The Circus on the road across the UK, having previously taken the album of the same name to number 1 a year earlier. The first Circus tour was absolutely epic and all the reviews are suggesting that the new show is even better than the first, as Gary, Mark and Howard turn the clock back, as well as taking things to a whole new level.<\/p>\n
Take That were last at the Stadium of Light, together with fellow OGs Robbie Williams and Jason Orange in May 2011 with their Progress tour – the last tour that saw them perform as a five piece. For the last decade or so, it’s been Gary, Mark and Howard who’ve been flying the Take That flag, with them bringing tours over the last 10 years to the likes of the Newcastle Arena and Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough.<\/p>\n
But on Tuesday night, all eyes will be back on Sunderland and there’s extra incentive for anyone with a ticket to get to the ground early, as the warm up acts for the show are none other than 80s legend Belinda Carlisle and Irish icons The Script, who were one of the support acts on the original Circus tour.<\/p>\n
