<\/p>\nAn acclaimed Andrew Scott drama written and directed by Andrew Haigh is now available to stream in the UK. Released in 2023, All of Us Strangers is a loose adaptation of Taichi Yamada’s 1987 novel Strangers and also stars Paul Mescal, Claire Foy and Jamie Bell.<\/p>\n
The film follows a lonely television screenwriter, Adam (Scott), who begins a relationship with a neighbour, played by Mescal. Meanwhile, Adam frequently visits his childhood home, now empty, where he sees the ghosts of his parents as they were at the time they died in a car crash when he was 12.<\/p>\n
The sweet meetings with the ghosts of his mum and dad, portrayed by Foy and Bell, give Adam the chance to reconcile with them, but a heartbreaking twist awaits.<\/p>\n
