{"id":630819,"date":"2026-06-10T08:47:07","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T08:47:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/630819\/"},"modified":"2026-06-10T08:47:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T08:47:07","slug":"work-begins-to-convert-inkerman-pub-into-cardinal-medical","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/630819\/","title":{"rendered":"Work begins to convert Inkerman Pub into Cardinal Medical"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Senior NHS leaders and MP Patrick Spencer unveiled the start of construction works which will see The Inkerman Pub, in Norwich Road, being converted into part of Cardinal Medical Practice.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The building was purchased by the surgery, which is the largest medical practice in Ipswich, in March after the plans were approved by Ipswich Borough Council with works expected to be complete by spring.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   width=\"100%\" alt=\"Cardinal Medical Practice General Manager Andrew Preston\"\/>Cardinal Medical Practice General Manager Andrew Preston (Image: Newsquest)\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Cardinal Medical Practice General Manager Andrew Preston said: &#8220;It&#8217;s really amazing. It&#8217;s taken a long time to get to this point. We&#8217;re really excited as a surgery to see what more we can do, how many more patients we can bring and serve the local area.
