Geese<\/a> have been confirmed as the final headliner for 2026\u2019s End Of The Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s bash will mark the 20th anniversary of the festival, and sees it return to the Larmer Tree Gardens site on the border of Dorset and Wiltshire between September 3 and September 6.<\/p>\n

Pulp<\/a>, CMAT<\/a>, Mac DeMarco<\/a> were all previously announced to top the bill<\/a> and now it has been confirmed that the mystery \u201csecret headliner\u201d, Geese will play the opening night on The Woods Stage on Thursday.<\/p>\n

It tops off an impressive year for the New York band who won the Brit Award for Best International Group<\/a> and made their\u00a0Saturday Night Live debut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Geese\u2019s third album \u2018Getting Killed<\/a>\u2019\u00a0was named by\u00a0NME\u00a0as the best album of 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho ordered this absurd, poetic explosion of jazz, rock and noise \u2013 where Radiohead<\/a>,\u00a0Black Midi<\/a>,\u00a0The Strokes<\/a>,\u00a0Van Morrison<\/a>, and Ukrainian choir samples collide without being crushed beneath the pretension?\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0a rare, unpredictable record that comes with such melody in\u00a0the madness, control in\u00a0the chaos.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0a total thrill, but then \u201call people must smile in times of war\u201d,\u00a0as Winter croons on \u2018100 Horses\u2019,\u201d wrote\u00a0NME.<\/p>\n

They also received a five star review<\/a> for their recent live performance at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.<\/p>\n
