Courtesy of Alamy.<\/p>\n<p>Disney and Pixar will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the animated feature \u201cCars\u201d with a re-release of the 2006 title in cinemas this September. <\/p>\n<p>Pixar shared the announcement on social media yesterday, writing, \u201c20 years ago today, a stop in Radiator Springs showed us that the journey matters as much as the finish line\u2026 Cars races back into theaters September. #Cars20\u2033<\/p>\n<p>That isn\u2019t the only film getting a re-release soon.  StudioCanal have announced they are re-releasing Michael Mann\u2019s 1986 film \u201cManhunter,\u201d a film adaptation of Thomas Harris\u2019 \u201cRed Dragon\u201d novel, in U.S. cinemas next month.<\/p>\n<p>Dubbed \u201cManhunter: The Final Cut,\u201d the new 4K restoration will get a theatrical re-release on July 24th in the U.S. with the title set to debut at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures\u2019 David Geffen Theater this week on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>A theatrical push in the United Kingdom is also taking place on September 25th with a home entertainment version likely hitting sometime after that.<\/p>\n<p>William Peterson stars in the film as FBI profiler Will Graham, Tom Noonan as serial killer Francis Dolarhyde\/The Tooth Fairy, and Brian Cox as imprisoned cannibalistic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecktor.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/attractionsmagazine.com\/cars-movie-back-in-theaters-disney-attractions\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Attractions Magazine<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiewire.com\/news\/general-news\/michael-mann-manhunter-final-cut-4k-restoration-1235199202\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Indiewire<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"De Laurentiis Entertainment Group.
