Stop! That! Train!<\/a> is going over well with the critics so far.<\/p>\n

The movie follows best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic \u201cStormaganza\u201d threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone,\u00a0Brooke Lynn Hytes,\u00a0Marcia Marcia Marcia) and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.<\/p>\n

Slant Magazine gave it a 3 out of 4, saying: \u201cStop! That! Train! handles the dumbest things with just the right amount of seriousness, and it\u2019s more than self-aware of its own silliness.\u201d<\/p>\n

THR says: \u201cThe heart of this action-comedy that\u2019s really a high-concept girlfriend movie is Ginger Minj and Jujubee, their characterizations in perfect sync, their rapport endearing and their triumph-of-the-underdog arc something worth rooting for.\u201d<\/p>\n

IndieWire gave it a B-, writing: \u201d\u00a0A movie best enjoyed about three margaritas deep, it\u2019s not as disposable as your average acting challenge sketch from the show, but it\u2019s not likely to register as a comedy that can be endlessly revisited, either. It\u2019s best appreciated as a platform for some great drag artists, getting a chance at real leading lady glory during Pride Month.\u201d<\/p>\n

People\u2019s World says: \u201cAt 92 minutes,\u00a0Stop! That! Train\u00a0never overstays its welcome. It provides a fun time in the theater where you\u2019re certain to laugh, even if you\u2019re uncertain about the future of our world.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Salt Lake City Weekly gave it 3 out of 5 stars, writing: \u201cAt its best, it\u2019s gleefully silly enough to feel like it shares more with\u00a0Airplane!\u00a0than just an exclamation point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Next Best Picture gave it 5 out of 10, writing: \u201cThanks to the overwhelming talents and valiant efforts of its cast (especially the Drag Race alumni), the film is hilarious\u2026because of the high ratio of jokes-per-minute, not all of them land. The film is knowingly disposable and visually unappealing.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Boston Globe gave it 2 out of 5 stars, writing: \u201cDespite its flaws, I imagine a long shelf life for this movie. I can see it playing on screens at gay bars and at watch parties where the drinks flow freely and the \u2018reading\u2019 really is fundamental.\u201d<\/p>\n
