The first trailer has arrived for The Social Reckoning, the follow-up to 2010 drama The Social Network, and fans have praised Jeremy Strong\u2019s transformation into Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg.<\/p>\n
The film, released October 9, is directed by Aaron Sorkin, who wrote the first film, taking over from the previous director David Fincher<\/a>.<\/p>\n The story is described as a \u201cspiritual successor\u201d to the previous movie, and follows the 2021 Facebook Files investigation, where whistleblower Frances Haugen (Mikey Madison) and Wall Street Journal journalist Jeff Horwitz (Jeremy Allen White<\/a>) expose Meta\u2019s harmful internal practices.
