{"id":633956,"date":"2026-06-12T00:08:10","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T00:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/633956\/"},"modified":"2026-06-12T00:08:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T00:08:10","slug":"jill-scott-peddles-to-north-east-in-homecoming-stretch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/633956\/","title":{"rendered":"Jill Scott peddles to North East in homecoming stretch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Former Lioness Jill Scott is due to arrive in her home region in the penultimate leg of her Sport Relief challenge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">She is aiming to cycle and run 388 miles (624km) from Wembley Stadium &#8211; the site of her historic 2022 Euros win &#8211; to her home town club at Sunderland&#8217;s Stadium of Light on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Scott battled through wind and constant torrential rain in her toughest leg yet, but said she &#8220;was from Sunderland so was used to it&#8221;.
