Coronation Street legend and I’m A Celeb All Stars contestant Beverley Callard has revealed she has had to return to hospital as she continues to deal with her cancer diagnosis\"Beverley<\/p>\n

Coronation Street<\/a> icon Beverley Callard<\/a> has candidly opened up about her life-threatening health scare. The legendary soap actress, 69, revealed she is having more tests in hospital as she continues to deal with her cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

She revealed her diagnosis in January and regularly updates her followers. Fans watched her take part in I’m A Celebrity<\/a>, but the show was filmed before she discovered the health issue.<\/p>\n

But now she has shared her latest Instagram<\/a> update, revealing she has had a tough time of late. Speaking on the social media platform, Beverley said: “Well, I\u2019ve got sort of good news, well definitely good news, but maybe bad news, but I\u2019m not sure yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe good news is my new script arrived yesterday in preparation for me going back to work at the end of next week. So I\u2019m excited, I can\u2019t wait to go back to work, and the scripts are fantastic.”<\/p>\n

She went on: “But the negative side is I\u2019ve had quite a lot of pain in my right leg. I had to go to the GP today and it\u2019s a suspected blood clot which can happen if you\u2019ve got cancer and if you\u2019ve had surgery.”<\/p>\n

Explaining her thoughts at the news, Beverley continued: \u201cNow it might not be, but you know you think, \u2018Oh no, please, no, no, no, no, no, no.\u2019<\/p>\n

“So I\u2019ve got to be at a hospital in the morning at 8am to have tests and all sorts of things done about that. And then I see the radiotherapist at 1.15.<\/p>\n

“So that\u2019s today\u2019s news, but I\u2019m feeling fine, I\u2019m feeling quite positive. So I thank you so much for all your wonderful messages and I\u2019m listening to everybody and trying to take everything in.”<\/p>\n

Beverley recently admitted she has “completely crashed” emotionally as she continues to deal with the disease. Speaking on Saturday , Beverley, who underwent her first bout of surgery in February<\/a>, explained: \u201cI\u2019ve made an appointment for Botox, I know people don\u2019t agree with it but I wanted to do it for me.<\/p>\n

“I go back to work soon too so I don\u2019t want to look like the walking dead, which, sometimes I do at the moment. This morning, I showered, exfoliated, did all the girl things, fake tan, and caught sight of my whole body in the mirror, which I don\u2019t look at very often. I completely crashed emotionally and just thought\u2026’Oh my God, I look like a freak.’<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease don\u2019t think I\u2019m self-indulgent. I\u2019m not, I know loads of people are far worse off than me.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve got loads of support in Jon and my family and friends but I crashed emotionally and I just thought \u2018I can\u2019t do this anymore.’ I got myself together but I didn\u2019t feel brilliant.\u201d<\/p>\n
