\n Max Out Gym, located at Allerton Mills, Allerton, is running the camp to keep young people active and engaged over the school holidays.\n<\/p>\n
\n The gym, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, hopes the club will help to tackle crime and improve the mental health of young people in the area.\n<\/p>\n
\n Yasser Ali, director at Max Out Gym, said: “I want to set up a boxing and youth camp during the summer holidays to help tackle crime, improve mental health, and give young people a positive environment where they can learn, develop, and stay active.\n<\/p>\n
\n “The doors at Max Out Gym are open to everyone.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We are more than just a gym, we are a community facility.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Anyone who is struggling, feeling isolated, or simply needs support is welcome to come and speak to me or get in touch.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We are here to support our community.”\n<\/p>\n
\n To help deliver the programme, Yasser has approached respected local boxing coach Ali of Aztec Boxing Club, whose work with young people and community groups has earned praise across Bradford over many years.\n<\/p>\n
\n Following discussions, Coach Ali has agreed to support the project and assist in establishing the youth club and boxing camp.\n<\/p>\n
\n Coach Ali is a fully qualified and affiliated boxing coach through England Boxing and also serves as a safeguarding officer for local boxing clubs.\n<\/p>\n
\n He has already delivered a number of fitness and boxing-based sessions for Max Out Gym members, including older adults managing diabetes and other health conditions.\n<\/p>\n
\n Yasser added: “Coach Ali has already run several classes for our senior members who are dealing with diabetes and other health issues, and the response has been fantastic.\n<\/p>\n
\n “His experience, qualifications, and dedication to helping people make him the perfect person to support this initiative.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The summer programme aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment where young people can develop confidence, discipline, fitness and life skills while building positive relationships within the community.\n<\/p>\n
