Geordie Shore alums have flooded the comments<\/a> to congratulate the new parents. Holly Hagan commented, “Oh how long we\u2019ve waited for this moment, our gorgeous little Brody you have the best mammy and daddy in the world! I\u2019m so excited to watch you grow up! Brook’s TOWIE family have also turned up to congratulate the couple, as Georgia Harrison commented, “Omg yessssss I\u2019m so happy for you !!!!!! The moment finally came we\u2019ve been manifesting our lives together for years soph and here you are in that moment you\u2019ve seen all that time, enjoy it”<\/p>\n
The post celebrating the birth of the couple’s first child has gathered nearly 300,000 likes in just over an hour.<\/p>\n
The happy news comes after the two struggled with fertility for years. The two had battled fertility issues for two years before, including a chemical pregnancy, which is a pregnancy loss that occurs very early on, usually just after the embryo implants.<\/p>\n
Last year, Geordie Shore star Sophie announced that she had started Lymphocyte Immunisation Therapy (LIT), which is designed to improve fertility by analysing the immune system.<\/p>\n
Taking to Instagram, the TV star said: “After 28 months our fertility journey continues. Today we are heading to @fertilysis to start our first round of Lit therapy amongst other treatments. Our biggest leap forwards on our journey in what feels like forever.<\/p>\n
“As a team we are taking every day, week and month as it comes. We will not give up. Thank you to every single friend, member of our families and everyone else who continues to reach out with kind words and support it really does mean the world. To those who are also in the same boat. Keep going. Keep communicating and keep exploring.”<\/p>\n
In news that overjoyed everyone, in December of 2025, Sophie was able to share that she was pregnant, calling it “The most magical gift”. The couple had a huge baby shower to celebrate, which featured on the first episode of TOWIE’s latest season.<\/p>\n
Jordan recently welcomed the birth of his son just a few months after being discharged from the hospital. He had been unable to walk due to viral meningitis, which caused his brain to swell. The TOWIE star spent 22 days in the hospital during his recovery, but in May, he informed fans that his liver count had returned to normal after he had come close to liver failure.<\/p>\n
During his hospital stay, Sophie was prohibited from visiting him. This was because, if Jordan had been infected with bacterial meningitis, it would have posed a risk to her and their unborn child.<\/p>\n
