Wakefield Trinity boss Daryl Powell has offered his verdict on this evening\u2019s 48-10 defeat to Wigan Warriors.<\/p>\n

Powell\u2019s side would score just two tries, with those coming from Matty Storton and Tom Johnstone \u2013 the latter being a consolation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought Wigan were awesome,\u201d the Trinity boss said in his first words to the press. \u201c[It was] a really poor performance, that\u2019s all I\u2019ve got to say really, I just think we\u2019ve got to learn some lessons from it.<\/p>\n

Dissecting what went wrong in particular, the boss added: \u201cI thought it was all Wigan. I just thought they completely dominated the game and they\u2019ve been playing that way for a few weeks now, and they continued in that vein of form.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think we really did that much to stop it, and it was just \u2018it is what it is.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a game we\u2019ve not turned up at. We\u2019ve got beaten in every facet of the game. We just have to put it behind us, move on.<\/p>\n

Wakefield Trinity injury update as boss reveals Oliver Pratt blow<\/p>\n

To add a further blow, Jayden Myers suffered an injury in the first half and wouldn\u2019t return after the break. He suffered a knock to his A\/C joint in his shoulder, forcing him to miss the remainder of the game.<\/p>\n

Powell also provided more clarity on other injured bodies in the squad, including Mason Lino, who could miss up to six weeks with a calf issue.<\/p>\n

In addition, Oliver Pratt is set for around two months on the sidelines, whilst Josh Rourke is also set for a spell out of the side, though he won\u2019t be out for as long.<\/p>\n
