{"id":636236,"date":"2026-06-13T06:58:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-13T06:58:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/636236\/"},"modified":"2026-06-13T06:58:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-13T06:58:11","slug":"dunlevy-and-kelly-amongst-the-irish-medals-at-europeans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/636236\/","title":{"rendered":"Dunlevy and Kelly amongst the Irish medals at Europeans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly took home the gold medal in the time-trial event at the UEC European Championships in Maniago, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The reigning world champions finished 0.75 seconds ahead of bikes from Great Britain and Italy respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In their first year of competition together, Sinead Greenan and Alice Sharpe finished fourth in the WB category.<\/p>\n<p>Other Irish medal success saw Heather Jameson (WC2) and Richael Timothy (WC3) take bronze in their respective categories.<\/p>\n<p>A crash for Steve McGowan saw a strong start to the TT hampered, as he took 15th in the MH3 category.
