Congratulations, Bond — another successful mission!

Original Story: You’ll have to forgive me for being a little late with this Game of the Month poll for May 2026 — it was all down to those pesky summer gaming events, leaving no room for such a debate.

But now that the excitement is over, it’s time to look back on the month of May and ask ourselves… which PS5 release deserves to be crowned Game of the Month? As always, only you can decide.

May wasn’t what I would call stacked, but it did have a couple of heavy hitters in the form of 007 First Light and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight — and those two blockbusters (pun mostly intended) were flanked by some really highly rated, smaller releases.

Both Mixtape and Mina the Hollower were met with rave reviews, and they couldn’t be much further away from each other in terms of gameplay and design.

So again, it wasn’t the most packed month, but the quality was certainly clear for all to see. And so I’m thinking this poll will be rather interesting…

But before we get to that, here’s a very quick recap of 2026’s Game of the Month winners so far:

Now then, which game should join them? Vote for your favourite PS5 title of May 2026 in the poll, and then at least try to explain yourself in the comments section below.

Voting closes on Thursday 11th June 2026 at 00:00 BST.

What was your PS5 Game of the Month for May 2026?
