A win for either side would also make them three-time champions, with both clubs currently sat on two titles apiece.<\/p>\n<p>Northampton Saints v Exeter Chiefs PREM final confirmed<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/team\/northampton-saints\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Northampton<\/a> ended the regular season at the top of the pile, booking their home play-off tie as early as round 16, and qualified for the final with a 41-31 win over Leicester Tigers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/team\/exeter-chiefs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Exeter<\/a> had to do it the tough way, only securing their play-off place in the final round of the regular season with a win over fifth-placed Saracens, but they have now booked their spot in the final with a dramatic 27-26 come back win to dethrone defending champions Bath at The Rec.<\/p>\n<p>Both finalists enjoyed strong league campaigns, with Northampton winning 14 of their 18 fixtures while Exeter won 11, and they faced each other in two exciting games as well.<\/p>\n<p>Want more from Planet Rugby?
