\n Harrison Ford reprised his role as the world\u2019s most daring archaeologist at the age of 78, but it was not clear if Dr Jones was the one riding the motorbike.\n<\/p>\n
\n The fiery spectacle sparked speculation that it was linked to yet another death-defying escape from the Nazis.\n<\/p>\n
\n Bamburgh Castle was closed to the public for several days leading up to the filming, with Second World War vehicles spotted being delivered to the site.\n<\/p>\n
\n Local residents were informed that filming would occur at night, with warnings about potential loud noises.\n<\/p>\n

\n On Thursday evening into Friday morning, the crew staged a fire that illuminated the night sky.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Humphreys said at the time: \u201cThey started to test the set around 9pm and filming went on to about 1am.\n<\/p>\n
\n “They staged a fire and we could see a man on a motorbike going up to the castle \u2013 it could be a prison break scene, after all, this is Indiana Jones.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It looked spectacular in the night sky with the backdrop of the famous castle.”\n<\/p>\n
\n During breaks from filming, Ford was spotted cycling along the Northumberland coast and on Tyneside.\n<\/p>\n
\n Earlier in the filming schedule, he had charmed a young fan in Grosmont, tipping his famous hat and joking that he was Indiana Jones\u2019s stunt double.\n<\/p>\n
\n Props for the film included tanks, a guard tower, and a steam train adorned in the colours of 1940s German railways. In a delightful twist, the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter embraced the excitement by naming a litter of four kittens Harrison, Ford, Indiana, and Jones.\n<\/p>\n
