Brisbane Broncos outside back Jesse Arthars is the latest NRL name being linked with a move to Super League and it could be to replace a current star.<\/p>\n

Jesse Arthars scored 11 in 18 for the Broncos in 2025 and he\u2019s currently scored four in seven this season for a side who are massively underperforming.<\/p>\n

Off-contract at the end of the year, the 27-year-old has recently seen a move to the Gold Coast Titans for 2027 fall through and that\u2019s resulted in him eyeing a Super League switch with one team named as a potential landing spot.<\/p>\n

Catalans Dragons are considering Arthars according to a report from\u00a0The Australian\u00a0<\/a>with John Cartwright, a former Brisbane Broncos assistant the French side\u2019s coach rigth now.<\/p>\n

Cartwright is not contracted for 2027<\/a> but should he be involved in recruitment decisions such as targeting Arthars then it would be a strong suggestion that he may well stay in Perpignan beyond the end of the his current deal.<\/p>\n

According to reports, Catalans are considering a three-year deal for Arthars, which would be a massive coup given the fact he is certainly good enough to remain in the NRL and is still in his prime years.<\/p>\n

Super League centre keen on NRL return<\/p>\n

Another possible element of the deal would be that the Australian are also reporting that Catalans\u2019 centre Nick Cotric is keen to return to the NRL.<\/p>\n

Cotric is contracted for 2027 but he\u2019s reportedly looking to make the switch back down under and his possible exit would certainly help fuel a move for Arthars, both in terms of cap space, quota space and a positional need.<\/p>\n

Since signing for Catalans ahead of the 2025 season, Cotric has played 37 games and scored seven tries with two of those coming in 2026.<\/p>\n

Another former Catalans man who has recently returned down under, Iszac Fa\u2019asuamaleaui,<\/a> has signed with Queensland Cup club Ipswich Jets.<\/p>\n

Fa\u2019asuamaleaui returned to Australia to be closer with family as his father, Fereti, sadly passed away after a battle with cancer.<\/p>\n
