K-pop veterans\u00a0Big Bang<\/a>\u00a0have announced a new global stadium tour, their first run of shows since 2017.<\/p>\n

The Seoul group, who consist of\u00a0G-Dragon<\/a>,\u00a0Taeyang<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Daesung<\/a>, following the departures of T.O.P and\u00a0Seungri<\/a>, will play a run of 31 huge shows\u00a0in celebration of their 20th anniversary as a band.<\/p>\n

The dates kick off\u00a0in\u00a0Goyang\u2019s\u00a0Goyang\u00a0Stadium on August 21, the first of three shows at the venue. They head to the US for gigs in California and New Jersey, and then to Europe for Paris and London stadium shows in September.<\/p>\n

The tour continues in Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia and Indonesia, before returning to Taiwan for the final shows at the Kaohsiung National Stadium on February 27 and 28 next year.<\/p>\n

Big Bang have not released new music since the \u2018Still Life<\/a>\u2019 single in 2022, which itself\u00a0was their first release in four years<\/a>.\u00a0NME\u00a0awarded the track five stars on its release<\/a>, noting: \u201cWith production reminiscent of soft rock from the \u201970s and \u2019 80s, \u2019Still Life\u2019 excels at bringing out the unique vocal tones of each member \u2013 an aspect that has long been lauded as one of Big Bang\u2019s strengths. The same laid-back arrangement that brings out Taeyang and Daesung\u2019s rich vocals also leaves a lot of room for rapid-fire introspection from G-Dragon and T.O.P.\u201d<\/p>\n
