\n\tAlicia Silverstone<\/a> is set to reprise her role as Cher Horowitz in a Clueless<\/a> reboot in the works at Peacock.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview, Silverstone talked about her excitement about playing the character over 30 years later.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI can\u2019t wait to step back into Cher\u2019s skin and her fancy designer shoes that will be gently used, of course, duh, because she\u2019s evolved,\u201d she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cThis is 2025, she\u2019s not wearing the new stuff unless it\u2019s sustainable or vegan. We\u2019ll have to see how far we can go with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs far as the development of the series, Silverstone said, \u201cIt\u2019s very early stages. I\u2019m obviously excited. I never thought that, that was something that I would ever do because I wouldn\u2019t wanna mess up this thing that we all love so much. We will do our very best to honor the original movie that we love and also bring something new to it. That\u2019s the goal, and I believe we will execute that goal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn April, Deadline reported<\/a> that a Clueless TV series was being developed for Peacock with Silverstone attached to star and executive produce. The series is set to be written and executive produced by the Gossip Girl and The OC duo Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire and Dollface creator Jordan Weiss, with the 1995 movie\u2019s writer-director Amy Heckerling and producer Robert Lawrence also executive producing.<\/p>\n
