YouTuber KSI has paid an emotional tribute to US singer and \u201clegend\u201d Oliver Tree who is believed to have died after two helicopters collided in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n
The American singer-songwriter, who collaborated with KSI on the song Voices and is known for the track Miss You, was listed as being on board a helicopter that crashed over the Brazilian city on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
Tree is believed to be one of six people who were killed when the two helicopters collided over Rio de Janeiro and crashed in the city\u2019s western zone, firefighters said, <\/p>\n
However, police said they have not been able to identify the bodies of those killed in the crash.<\/p>\n
Police did confirm the death of Gaspar Prim D\u00edaz \u2013 an Argentine content creator known as Gaspi with more than 2.8 million followers on YouTube \u2013 another Argentine Lucas Vignale and three Brazilians \u2013 Lucas Brito, Charles Marsillac and Alexandre Souza. <\/p>\n

Rio de Janeiro\u2019s Military Fire Department said one of the helicopters crashed on a car dealership where several electric vehicles were parked, igniting a fire that was extinguished.<\/p>\n
Speaking to reporters at the crash site, police investigator Alan Luxardo said human error might have led to the collision. <\/p>\n
He added that authorities were investigating whether air traffic controllers or one of the pilots was responsible for the crash. <\/p>\n
Paying tribute to Tree in a post shared on X, Britain\u2019s Got Talent judge KSI said: \u201cCan\u2019t believe I\u2019m actually having to type this. You\u2019re 32 man. You should still be here. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou still had so much life to live. So much music to make. So much content to make. You\u2019re a legend and will always be a legend. Still doesn\u2019t feel real. Genuinely feel sick. I love you bro.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 32-year old was only weeks into his World\u2019s First World Tour where he had planned to play shows on all seven continents.<\/p>\n

He performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 4, and on Saturday shared a video on his Instagram playing football in a Brazilian neighbourhood.<\/p>\n
Tree was due to play more than 70 shows across 30 countries including the UK with dates scheduled in Glasgow, Manchester and London in September.<\/p>\n
Recognisable by his signature bowl cut, Tree was known for his songs Life Goes On and When I\u2019m Down. He released his fourth studio album, Love You Madly, Hate You Badly in April.<\/p>\n
Jackass star Steve-O, real name Stephen Glover, paid tribute to the late singer in a post on Instagram.<\/p>\n
Sharing a photograph of the two together, the US comedian and prankster said: \u201cI was incredibly lucky to become friends with Oliver Tree.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe would check in on me regularly, and let me know he cared about how I was doing. Such a great person, f***, I\u2019m going to miss him\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
