Turkish actress Ece Irtem, who is best known for playing Isil in One Love, has died aged 35 of a heart attack. The star was reportedly found unresponsive at her home this morning, a day after her birthday, with her cause of death reported as a heart attack.<\/p>\n
Tributes have been flooding in following the heartbreaking news, with one person writing on X: “Rest in peace Ece Irtem. Ece was our amazing Gizem in Bay Yanlis. She had her 35th birthday yesterday and died of a sudden heart attack at her mother\u2019s home yesterday according to Turkish press.”<\/p>\n
Another said: “Oh my Go, this is serious, I can’t believe this. May God receive her with open arms. My condolences to the family and friends.”<\/p>\n
A third wrote: “Life hangs by a silken thread. A tiny clot decides it all. That’s how frail humanity is.”<\/p>\n
The actress’s lawyer said in a statement: “My client Ece \u0130rtem passed away today around 12:00. The incident occurred at her own home while she was with her mother.<\/p>\n
“Based on initial findings, we believe she passed away due to a heart attack. The investigation is ongoing. The definitive result will be clarified with the autopsy report. Additional information will be provided to the public once the autopsy report is released.”<\/p>\n
Her lawyer also dismissed speculation circulating on social media alleging that the star had taken her own life.<\/p>\n
The popular actress studied acting at the Sadri Alisik Cultural Centre from 2014 to 2015. She graduated from Yasar University\u2019s Opera and Vocal Performance department in 2014.<\/p>\n
