West Ham won’t rush the sale of Crysencio Summerville, who is admired by the likes of Man Utd and Tottenham<\/p>\n
West Ham are in no rush to sell Crysencio Summerville despite their devastating relegation to the Championship.<\/p>\n
Manchester United<\/a> are the latest side to show an interest in the Dutchman, who marked his World Cup debut with a goal on Sunday during a thrilling 2-2 draw with Japan<\/a> in Dallas.<\/p>\n Summerville’s stock has risen drastically since January when Tottenham<\/a> also considered a swoop for the former Leeds United<\/a> winger.<\/p>\n However, a number of clubs including Champions League<\/a> winners PSG<\/a> are now looking to capitalise on West Ham’s situation and are hopeful of securing a cut-price deal.<\/p>\n West Ham<\/a> sources say that won’t be happening and they are happy to wait until after the World Cup to negotiate a transfer.<\/p>\n There is, however, an acceptance that it will be difficult to keep the player this summer but they won’t rush a sale and the same also applies to fellow United target Mateus Fernandes.<\/p>\n Both stars have had their wages slashed due to mechanisms in their respective contracts following West Ham’s relegation but both are still expected to move on.<\/p>\n The club’s new largest shareholder Daniel Kretinsky has claimed the Irons do not need to sell their most-prized assets and there’s stil a chance captain Jarrod Bowen<\/a> could stay put and play in the Championship next season.<\/p>\n It would take a figure in the region of \u00a345million to get West Ham talking on Summerville, while Portuguese midfielder Fernandes is valued at around \u00a380m amid interest from the likes of Real Madrid<\/a> and Arsenal<\/a>.<\/p>\n Man Utd like both Mateus Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville(Image: Rob Newell\/CameraSport)<\/p>\n The Gunners won’t be paying that and have taken a backseat in the past week or so, meaning United are now on pole providing Real Madrid do not make a push.<\/p>\n Tottenham are in the market for a new winger for Roberto De Zerbi and unofficial talks are currently continuing with Manchester City<\/a> over a move for Savinho.<\/p>\n Liverpool<\/a> are also in the market for a new left-sided forward and previously scouted Summerville back in 2024 but it remains to be seen whether they enter the fray.<\/p>\n United do also have a number of other options on their radar including Iliman Ndiaye and Morgan Rogers, according to reports.<\/p>\n Join our new WhatsApp community <\/a>and receive your daily dose of Mirror <\/a>Football <\/a>content.
