Aussie wicketkeeper-batter Georgia Redmayne, signed for the T20 tournament, will play three 50-over games before the Vitality Blast.<\/p>\n<p>The big question:\u00a0Can Warwickshire translate their impressive 20-over cricket from last season into the longer format? Having signed players who will strengthen the team in all departments and, crucially, bring experience to what is still a largely young squad, the Bears have the potential to challenge in the longer game in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Player to watch:\u00a0Phoebe Brett \u2013 the 17-year-old left-armer is the latest addition to a spin attack of enviable depth and variety and impressed when her opportunities came along last season. Her control and wicket-taking skills have drawn comparison with Sophie Ecclestone.<\/p>\n<p>Final thought:\u00a0Last season, Warwickshire found themselves playing catch-up too often as the powerplays at the start of each innings went against them. Their skills shone in the T20. It\u2019s just about doing what we can do for longer. With the bat, I was really happy with our top three and how they went about it. Luffy set the tone for our innings and then we scored our highest partnership with Annie and Bex, so there were good things to take out of the game and how we went about the run chase. It was disappointing to lose that cluster of wickets because that swung the momentum completely Hampshire\u2019s way. So, whilst we can take some positives from it there\u2019s also a lot of learnings that we\u2019ve taken from that game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to commit to the way we want to play and back ourselves as well. I don\u2019t think we have to change too much, it\u2019s just about understanding that we\u2019re playing some good cricket and to keep doing it for longer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWarwickshire have had a couple of players come back into their squad which will bolster their lineup.
