On Tuesday evening, Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> discussed Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s disastrous renovations of the White House\u2019s reflecting pool and his \u201cvictory lap\u201d over his purported Iran<\/a> deal.<\/p>\n

On Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> Live!, the host remarked on a quiet US news day. \u201cCould that be because our president is 5,000 miles away in another country?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

Trump is currently in France<\/a> for the annual G7<\/a> summit between the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US. \u201cHe\u2019s in France trying his darndest to stay awake,\u201d laughed Kimmel.<\/p>\n

The US\u2019s allies are said to be reconsidering their relationship with the US amid Trump\u2019s war in Iran \u2013 as Kimmel put it, \u201crethinking their relationship with us the same way Drake<\/a> is rethinking his relationship<\/a> with Kendrick Lamar<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Trump and Iranian officials said<\/a> that a framework peace deal had been reached.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump has been taking a victory lap over this purported deal with Iran<\/a> that no one has seen,\u201d said Kimmel. \u201cThe White House hasn\u2019t released any of it. They haven\u2019t released it to Congress or the press or anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

The president has also been cooking up what Kimmel called \u201chis latest waste of money to promote his glorious reign\u201d, with plans for a Trump rally in Washington DC<\/a> on 4 July that includes \u201cthe largest fireworks show in history\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s going to burn down the White House, isn\u2019t he?\u201d joked Kimmel. \u201cThe amount of time he spends talking about and planning these events and building vanity projects \u2013 it\u2019s unbelievable and it\u2019s expensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump has spent a reported $14.2m updating<\/a> the reflecting pool on the National Mall because he didn\u2019t like the color, preferring an \u201cAmerican flag blue\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow not even a week later, it\u2019s already completely green<\/a> \u2013 it\u2019s Mexican flag green,\u201d said Kimmel, as he showed a picture of the pool to audience laughter.<\/p>\n

\u201cExperts are saying that when Trump had it painted dark blue, he made the problem worse because the darker color retains more heat and algae thrives in warmer water,\u201d Kimmel continued. \u201cYou know, he promised he would drain the swamp. Instead, he spent 14m of our dollars building a new one.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis next step is to move St Patrick\u2019s Day to July and claim it\u2019s green on purpose. He owns hotels. If there was one thing he could do, you would think it was keep a pool clean, and he can\u2019t even get that right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Robert F Kennedy Jr<\/a>\u2019s sister Carrie went on CNN this week to share memories of the US health secretary\u2019s interactions with reptiles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At her daughter\u2019s fourth birthday party, Carrie said that her brother grabbed a snake from the ground \u201cand stuffed it into a pillow case while he was holding his infant son \u2026 This snake was just chomping on his hand and he pulled it out to show the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow that\u2019s a fun uncle,\u201d laughed Kimmel. RFK Jr then released the snake into a nearby swimming pool.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he\u2019s worried about adding fluoride to the water?\u201d asked Kimmel. \u201cThis is one of the nuttiest stories I\u2019ve ever heard about anyone.
