Even so, he retains first place with 10,865 points, holding a sizeable gap over Jonas Vingegaard, second on 8,625.1.The main move at the sharp end of the ranking comes from Isaac del Toro. The Mexican confirmed his superb form with an outstanding display in the French round, where he claimed two stages and the overall. That haul lifts him back onto the podium in third with 5,339.7 points. Even so, the gap to Pogacar and Vingegaard remains significant, a reflection of the consistency both have shown across the past 12 months.

Del Toro’s rise triggers Remco Evenepoel’s slip to fourth. The Belgian skipped the French race and stays on 5,277.9 points, now sitting behind the UAE Team Emirates – XRG rider.

Isaac del Toro, a star of world cycling

Seixas remains in seventh place

For his part, Paul Seixas holds seventh in the world ranking despite abandoning the race, underlining how the young Frenchman’s excellent start to the season still anchors his place among the elite.

Wout van Aert climbs one place up to eleventh overall despite his Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes abandon and potential Tour de France setback. The Belgian’s win on stage 5 was enough to gain him some valuable points. The week’s big climber at the front is Jasper Philipsen. He took victory in the Copenhagen Sprint, enough to push him up to eight in the rankings.

Juan Ayuso enters the top 50. His podium at the Tour Auvergne Rhône-Alpes lifts him to 43rd on 1,544.8 points. Right behind is Ion Izagirre, 44th with 1,519.3, rounding out Spanish representation among the top fifty riders in the ranking.

Below, the UCI WorldTour ranking for the last 12 months:

Annual UCI WorldTour ranking Position Rider Team Points 1 Tadej Pogacar UAE Team Emirates – XRG 10,865 2 Jonas Vingegaard Team Visma | Lease a Bike 8,625.1 3 Isaac del Toro UAE Team Emirates – XRG 5,339.7 4 Remco Evenepoel Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe 5,277.9 5 Felix Gall Decathlon CMA CGM Team 4,053 6 Tom Pidcock Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team 3,808.4 7 Paul Seixas Decathlon CMA CGM Team 3,403.8 8 Jasper Philipsen Alpecin – Premier Tech 3,334 9 Mathieu van der Poel Alpecin – Premier Tech 3,230 10 Arnaud De Lie Lotto Intermarché 3,193 11 Wout van Aert Team Visma | Lease a Bike 3,024.6 12 João Almeida UAE Team Emirates – XRG 2,906.2 13 Paul Magnier Soudal Quick-Step 2,727 14 Florian Lipowitz Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe 2,663.9 15 Mauro Schmid Team Jayco AlUla 2,661 16 Romain Grégoire Groupama – FDJ United 2,645 17 Tobias Lund Andresen Decathlon CMA CGM Team 2,599 18 Christian Scaroni XDS Astana Team 2,524 19 Mads Pedersen Lidl – Trek 2,514.9 20 Jai Hindley Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe 2,514 21 Mattias Skjelmose Lidl – Trek 2,477.6 22 Tobias Halland Johannessen Uno-X Mobility 2,450 23 Oscar Onley Netcompany INEOS 2,335.3 24 Giulio Ciccone Lidl – Trek 2,224.9 25 Jay Vine UAE Team Emirates – XRG 2,207.5 26 Kévin Vauquelin Netcompany INEOS 2,157.3 27 Lenny Martinez Bahrain – Victorious 2,153 28 Thymen Arensman Netcompany INEOS 2,151 29 Giulio Pellizzari Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe 2,120 30 Jonathan Milan Lidl – Trek 2,059 31 Matteo Jorgenson Team Visma | Lease a Bike 1,999.1 32 Egan Bernal Netcompany INEOS 1,874.5 33 Michael Storer Tudor Pro Cycling Team 1,852 34 Jordi Meeus Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe 1,811 35 Ben Healy EF Education – EasyPost 1,794.3 36 Christophe Laporte Team Visma | Lease a Bike 1,772 37 Dylan Groenewegen Unibet Rose Rockets 1,755 38 Brandon McNulty UAE Team Emirates – XRG 1,737.1 39 Jasper Stuyven Soudal Quick-Step 1,735 40 Jan Christen UAE Team Emirates – XRG 1,678 41 Benoît Cosnefroy UAE Team Emirates – XRG 1,671.3 42 Biniam Girmay NSN Cycling Team 1,621 43 Juan Ayuso Lidl – Trek 1,544.8 44 Ion Izagirre Cofidis 1,519.3 45 Dorian Godon Netcompany INEOS 1,482.3 46 Primoz Roglic Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe 1,468 47 Luke Plapp Team Jayco AlUla 1,464.1 48 Corbin Strong NSN Cycling Team 1,449 49 Quinn Simmons Lidl – Trek 1,446.6 50 Matthew Riccitello Decathlon CMA CGM Team 1,435.6

Tadej Pogacar continues to lead the UCI WorldTour Ranking with authority, although his advantage narrowed this week after…

[37
4985,109610,9046,38938,7133,101,8782,56,54,55
post-644805","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-cycling","tag-cycling","tag-isaac-del-toro","tag-jonas-vingegaard","tag-movistar-team","tag-remco-evenepoel","tag-sports","tag-tadej-pogacar","tag-uk","tag-united-kingdom","tag-unitedkingdom
["GET
