Jon Bon Jovi<\/a> has shared a health update on his vocal surgery following doubts on whether he\u2019d tour again.<\/p>\n

Bon Jovi<\/a>\u00a0released their album \u2018Forever\u2019 in June 2024<\/a> \u2013 however, the frontman was hesistant to say whether he could tour <\/a>following vocal surgery he underwent in 2022.<\/p>\n

Now, in a new interview with\u00a0People<\/a>, Bon Jovi has confirmed he\u2019s \u201cfully recovered\u201d from the surgery.\u00a0\u201cIt was longer than I\u2019d ever expected, but it had to be right. We never lost faith.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that the band \u201cnever doubted [me] and never looked for work or decided to retire. The sacrifices that each one of them have made to be there for me is on a whole \u2019nother level.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery day of every rehearsal they were there with me,\u201d the frontman continued to say. \u201cMy love for them has only deepened.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2024, Jon Bon Jovi spoke to\u00a0<\/a>NME<\/a>\u00a0about the possibility of touring \u2018Forever\u2019 following his vocal surgery.<\/p>\n

At time time, he said he was \u201cmuch further down the road to recovery\u201d, but cautioned:\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m still not confident I could do two-and-a-half hours a night, four days a week and I won\u2019t book a gig until I\u2019ve done that on a rehearsal level.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this moment in time, we\u2019re rehearsing once a month just to see the progress. I\u2019m not there yet and it blows.\u201d<\/p>\n

The band are due to play a run of UK and Ireland shows this year<\/a>\u00a0alongside a New York residency.<\/p>\n

They initially announced a show at Edinburgh\u2019s Murrayfield Stadium on August 28, followed by Croke Park in Dublin on August 30 and finally a giant show at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium on September 4. However, the band went on to add two more dates to their Wembley shows<\/a> due to phenomenal demand.<\/p>\n
