{"id":645619,"date":"2026-06-18T16:42:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T16:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/645619\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T16:42:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T16:42:08","slug":"barrow-veteran-prop-brad-singleton-joins-until-end-of-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/uk\/645619\/","title":{"rendered":"Barrow: Veteran prop Brad Singleton joins until end of season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Barrow Raiders have signed veteran prop Brad Singleton on a deal until the end of this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Singleton was a free agent after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sport\/rugby-league\/articles\/cddpplln51po\" class=\"ssrcss-1fqyhkk-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">leaving Castleford Tigers last month<\/a> but he will now play for his hometown club.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The 33-year-old was a Grand Final winner with Leeds Rhinos in 2015, and has played more than 300 games since his debut in 2011, the majority in Super League.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Me and Cresta [head coach Paul Crarey] have always had a great relationship, and with me and my family moving back home and me stepping away from Super League, it just felt right to finish here,&#8221; Singleton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrowrlfc.com\/latest-news\/grand-final-winner-brad-singleton-joins-raiders\/\" class=\"ssrcss-1fqyhkk-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told the club website., external<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;Barrow means a lot to me.
