Here’s the most exciting 32 seconds that GTA fans will see all day.

Good news, everyone. Rockstar Games has finally confirmed the pre-order date for Grand Theft Auto 6: the 25th of June, this year. That’s a week away, and means that any further delays for the most anticipated game of the year are quite unlikely.

The launch platforms, as previously announced, are PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. There’s no information about a potential PC or Switch 2 version as yet.

The GTA 6 website also now includes a short video that shows off a wide city shot of GTA 6 (thanks to ResetEra user Maxi). Weirdly, the ferris wheel doesn’t seem to have a reflection – start your conspiracy theories now!

"GrandNow just imagine the same cover with a German USK 18+ sticker on it. Delightful.

As well as the date itself, the video also serves as the official cover art reveal, which you’ve already seen in the thumbnail if you clicked here from elsewhere on the website or on social media.

If you want to use the background as a wallpaper, you can find it at the official GTA 6 website in up to 4K (16×9), up to 5K (ultrawide) or in phone and tablet-friendly varieties.

Are you pre-ordering day one? Or are you waiting for previews and reviews like a sensible video game buyer? Let me know in the comments below!
