Mariska Hargitay isn\u2019t a regular mom, she\u2019s a cool mom.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLaw & Order: SVU\u201d actress went to the star-studded New York Knicks parade<\/a> on Thursday with her 19-year-old son August, who wore an epic orange and blue \u201cMarknicksa Hargitay\u201d shirt as a shoutout to his famous mom and the basketball team.<\/p>\n Hargitay, for her part, wore a matching shirt that said, \u201cBrilliant Thing #11 The Knicks,\u201d along with a orange pants and white pointed pumps.<\/p>\n Mariska Hargitay\u2019s son August wore a \u201cMarknicksa Hargitay\u201d shirt to the NY Knicks parade on Thursday (Hargitay and August are seen above). Erik Pendzich \/ BACKGRID<\/p>\n Hargitay (seen above with Jalen Brunson) wore a shirt that said, \u201cBrilliant Thing #11 The Knicks.\u201d Erik Pendzich\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n The 62-year-old\u2019s top referenced her Broadway show \u201cEvery Brilliant Thing\u201d and Knicks MVP and her BFF <\/a>Jalen Brunson\u2019s jersey number.<\/p>\n Hargitay and August ended up on Brunson\u2019s float with his family <\/a>during the parade in downtown Manhattan, as seen in social media videos.<\/a><\/p>\n The Emmy Award winner shares August and two adopted children, Amaya, 15, and Andrew, 14, with husband Peter Hermann. <\/p>\n Hargitay\u2019s shirt at the parade referenced her Broadway show and Brunson\u2019s jersey number (She\u2019s seen on a float above). Twitter\/NBA<\/p>\n Hargitay, a diehard Knicks fan, took August to Game 3 of the NBA Finals <\/a>on June 8 at Madison Square Garden. They had courtside seats next to her \u201cSVU\u201d co-star Christopher Meloni.<\/a><\/p>\n For that game, Harigtay rocked a Knicks jersey over a long-sleeve white shirt, along with white eyelet pants and tennis shoes.<\/p>\n Before the San Antonio Spurs beat the Knicks 115 to 111, Hargitay and Meloni, 65, were spotted hugging on the Jumbotron.<\/p>\n Hargitay (seen above at Game 3 at Madison Square Garden with Christopher Meloni) is a diehard Knicks fan.
