The project, which is described as an \u201cevent film,\u201d marks the pair\u2019s follow-up to \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPlot details remain under wraps, but production is expected to begin in Los Angeles this summer. The film\u2019s release date was moved from June 12, 2027 to Nov. 19 of the same year. Damon stepped up to replace Ryan Gosling, who left the picture. \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d and \u201cKilling Eve\u201d star Sandra Oh is also in talks to join the project. Kwan, Scheinert and Jonathan Wang will produce through their company Playgrounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMelton first received attention for his performance in \u201cRiverdale.\u201d He also appeared in \u201cWarfare.\u201d Melton\u2019s turn in \u201cMay December\u201d earned him a Golden Globe nomination and he is expected to be an Emmy contender for his work in \u201cBeef.\u201d He is set to star in Nicolas Winding Refn\u2019s \u201cHer Private Hell\u201d alongside\u00a0Sophie Thatcher\u00a0and\u00a0Havana Rose Liu. The film earned a divisive reaction when it debuted at this year\u2019s Cannes Film Festival.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe\u00a0Daniels\u2019 credits include \u201cSwiss Army Man,\u201d an absurdist comedy, as well as music videos for artists including\u00a0Foster the People and the Shins. \u201cEverything Everywhere All at Once\u201d was a huge hit when it debuted in 2022, earning more than $140 million globally. It also won seven Oscars including best picture, and best director and best original screenplay for Kwan and Scheinert.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMelton is repped by CAA and 111 Media.
