Thank goodness for social media. When Coronation Street<\/a> actors are dropping spoilers between shoots, it makes journalism so much easier\u2026<\/p>\n There\u2019s a nasty surprise in store for\u00a0Alya Nazir<\/a>. At least that\u2019s what Coronation Street star Sair Khan<\/a> seems to be suggesting.<\/p>\n The actress posted a series of photos from set on Instagram where she modelled a range of her character\u2019s trademark snazzy outfits, as well as some smiling selfies with fellow cast members Mollie Gallagher (Nina Lucas), Sydney Martin (Betsy Swain) and Jane Hazelgrove (Betsy Winter).<\/p>\n Most of intriguingly of all, Sair posed making a faux-shocked expression in front of the back of an ambulance, hinting at possible danger for her beloved Cobbles alter ego.<\/p>\n What possible danger could Alya be in? Could it have something do with the arrival of her rough-around-the-edges cousin<\/a>, the loveably charming but ruthless rogue Idris Nazir (Junade Khan)?<\/p>\n Coronation Street producer Kate Brookes revealed that the newcomer is set to release the cat amongst the pigeons. \u2018He\u2019s funny, he\u2019s a handsome chap, and he ruffles a lot of feathers, but he\u2019s not without an edge. He\u2019s not soft, and he\u2019s certainly no pushover.\u00a0\u2018<\/p>\n True to form, the new boy wasted no time in making enemies. While Alya was delighted to see Idris, the same could not be said of her boyfriend and employer\u00a0Adam Barlow<\/a>\u00a0(Sam Robertson<\/a>), who took an instant disliking to the smooth operator.<\/p>\n \t\t And not without reason. Idris set fans\u2019 drama alarms off when he immediately started gravitating towards troubled teen Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvaney).<\/p>\n They first met at Speed Daal when Idris stepped in to aggressively eject rowdy customers who were causing trouble for Brody and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).<\/p>\n Impressed by the no-nonsense way he handled the rude punters, Brody sought him out for a job. <\/p>\n Idris hired the teenager for his \u2018skills and initiative\u2019 to work for his property agency, which already screams \u2018front.\u2019 We\u2019ve already seen Idris viciously threaten a man called Damo in an alleyway for money. Is Idris\u2019 way of making money entirely legit? Whatever the case, it\u2019s clear that Alya is none the wiser. Those suspicions are set to explode during a dinner party from hell<\/a>, in a much-hyped episode kicking off with a flash-forward of the party in ruins, with smashed glass on a blood stained table cloth.<\/p>\n Is this just the start of the bloodshed?
