Floyd Mayweather’s legal woes continue to mount.<\/p>\n

In the same week that Mayweather was charged with two felony counts,<\/a> the boxing legend is now facing a massive civil lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Mayweather is facing a $4.65m battle relating to his fights with Pacquiao and Tyson<\/p>\n

CSI Sports Events claims it paid Mayweather $4.65million in advances for exclusive rights to promote super fights with Mike Tyson<\/a> and Manny Pacquiao<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The suit states that CSI paid Mayweather $4.5m last year and a further $150,000 one day before ‘TBE’ announced an exhibition bout with 18-time kickboxing world champion Mike Zambidis.<\/a><\/p>\n

CSI has no involvement in the event, which is set to take place on June 27 in Athens, Greece, and claims Mayweather is in breach of his contract by taking the fight.<\/p>\n

The production company is therefore seeking an injunction to stop the exhibition bout from taking place and to be repaid the advanced payments of $4.65m.<\/p>\n

CSI claims that Mayweather is contractually bound to face Tyson before any other fight, after a deal was struck in August.<\/p>\n

Mayweather was set to earn $14m to fight Tyson, including a $2m advance.<\/p>\n

The fight was announced last September<\/a>, but no date or location was ever officially confirmed.<\/p>\n

CSI claims it then reached another agreement with Mayweather in November 2025 for a rematch with Pacquiao, whom ‘TBE’ beat back in 2015 in the richest fight in boxing history.<\/p>\n

Per the complaint, CSI agreed to pay Mayweather $35m, plus 20% of any pay-per-view revenue. <\/p>\n

In the event that the fight didn’t land on PPV, CSI agreed to pay Mayweather $50m.<\/p>\n

Mayweather is also said to have been paid a $2.5m advance for the Pacquiao event.<\/p>\n

CSI claims Mayweather then entered into a separate agreement with a different company, EverWonder, for a Pacquiao fight on Netflix.<\/p>\n

Everwonder eventually agreed to a $5m settlement, according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Amidst all of this, Mayweather is suing First Apex Ventures, along with his former manager, for $175m, alleging fraud. <\/p>\n

Mayweather has yet to publicly comment on the CSI lawsuit.<\/p>\n
