I was on the wheels. I lost my teammates in the final. They did a really good lead-out, but I wasn&#8217;t there, so I&#8217;m a bit disappointed in that. Zoe came with a lot of speed, so I think she deserved it,&#8221; Bossuyt said after taking third on the stage.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">&#8220;I think I actually did a good sprint. I was second or third \u2013 I don&#8217;t know, but I was really close with Lily [Williams]. I think the shape is good and we need to go further with that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"newsletter-form__strapline\">The latest race content, interviews, features, reviews and expert buying guides, direct to your inbox!<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">AG Insurance-Soudal may not have delivered a result on stage 3, but Le Court-Pienaar can still be hopeful with a time trial and mountain stage left to run. The Mauritian champion took fourth and sixth in the opening two days of her first race back following a lengthy injury lay-off.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">In March, she crashed in Milano-San Remo but got off easily, yet two weeks later in the Tour of Flanders, <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/pro-cycling\/womens-cycling\/it-hurts-a-lot-defending-champion-kim-le-court-pienaar-forced-to-watch-career-defining-liege-bastogne-liege-from-the-sidelines\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/pro-cycling\/womens-cycling\/it-hurts-a-lot-defending-champion-kim-le-court-pienaar-forced-to-watch-career-defining-liege-bastogne-liege-from-the-sidelines\/\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cyclingnews.com\/pro-cycling\/womens-cycling\/it-hurts-a-lot-defending-champion-kim-le-court-pienaar-forced-to-watch-career-defining-liege-bastogne-liege-from-the-sidelines\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">she was less lucky and fractured her wrist<\/a>, requiring surgery. This meant a 10-week break from racing to allow her injury to heal, preventing Le Court-Pienaar from defending her 2025 Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge title.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">Now she and her strikingly colourful Mauritian champion\u2019s jersey are back in the peloton \u2013 or ahead of the peloton \u2013 and she enjoyed the experience of riding in the breakaway.<\/p>\n<p aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"kiosq-b\">\u201cI had fun in the front, and it was good training to be in the break.
