\u2018The market for blokes feet is mad\u2026\u2019 said former EastEnders<\/a>\u2019 star Joshua Pascoe, who\u2019s recently put his own trotters on the market.<\/p>\n As a former Hollyoaks<\/a> writer, I can confirm this to be true. <\/p>\n I received a multitude of DMs from fans who\u2019d specifically ask me to write scenes that would feature certain actors barefoot, and even craft storylines around characters\u2019 feet.<\/p>\n \u2018When I first got speaking to people they were like, \u2018Can we see a picture of your feet?\u2019 Joshua went on to say, discussing his decision to dip his toe \u2013 pun intended \u2013 into a brand new career: adult content creation on the subscription service, OnlyFans.<\/p>\n He\u2019s also discovered something new about himself: \u2018There are so many different kinks and since starting this, I\u2019ve realised I\u2019m not as vanilla as I thought.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Joshua is, of course, known to soap fans as one of the many actors who\u2019ve portrayed Ben Mitchell<\/a>, with the character as famous for his ever-changing face as he is any of the plotlines he\u2019s found himself embroiled in during his multiple stints on Albert Square.<\/p>\n Charlie Jones originated the role, back when Ben was an adorable Lady Gaga fan who was the furthest thing that Phil Mitchell<\/a>\u00a0(Steve McFadden<\/a>) could\u2019ve imagined his son would be.<\/p>\n Next came Joshua, who brought a sinister edge to the role, with Ben having been hardened by his experience in a young offenders facility. This Ben committed what is possibly his most heinous crime, the accidental killing of the universally beloved Heather Trott<\/a> (Cheryl Fergison<\/a>).<\/p>\n \t\t The next Ben, Harry Reid, had retreated to the closet after Phil\u2019s initial displeasure at discovering that he was gay. It took falling in love with Paul Coker (Jonny Labey)<\/a> for him to reaffirm his true identity, and he reunited with his \u2013 presumed dead \u2013 mum, Kathy Beale<\/a>\u00a0(Gillian Taylforth<\/a>).<\/p>\n After fleeing with a bagful of stolen cash from Walford\u2019s Irish gangster invasion \u2013 Aidan and Ciara Maguire (Patrick Bergin and Denise McCormack)<\/a>, Ben returned, fully crystallised as Max Bowden<\/a>, playing the now-grown up and now-incredibly villainous adult version of Ben.<\/p>\n While the other Bens; Charlie Jones \u2013 who now goes by Charlie Chambers, professionally, Harry Reid and Max Bowden are still active in the acting industry, Joshua decided to undertake a different venture.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t\t\tDon’t miss a Soaps scoop! Unfortunately, though, he struggled more and more to secure parts as time went on, and eventually entered the building industry.<\/p>\n \u2018After EastEnders, the acting slowly dried up and I went to work on a building site instead,\u2019 he told the Daily Star<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u2018Then my friends suggested I start the adult work and within the first month I was in double figures. I get funny looks sometimes but no one\u2019s asked me about it at work yet.\u2019<\/p>\n He\u2019s not the first ex-soap star who\u2019s joined up to the site, with former stars James Sutton<\/a>\u00a0and Sarah Jayne Dunn<\/a> and fellow EastEnders alum Danniella Westbrook<\/a> all making accounts, though, unlike those, Joshua isn\u2019t shying away from embracing OnlyFans\u2019 reputation for incredibly spicy content.<\/p>\n \t\t Discussing the happiness he\u2019s found in his new life, Joshua said: \u2018I\u2019ve been out of the acting world for years now. <\/p>\n \u2018I\u2019ve just got a normal job, I\u2019m a normal bloke. I\u2019ve got a nine to five, Monday to Friday. I\u2019m humble \u2013 there\u2019s nothing flashy or lairy about me, I hope.<\/p>\n I\u2019m just a normal guy, but people have been really interested, which has baffled me. They\u2019ve taken an interest and they like talking, they like finding out what you\u2019re up to, what you\u2019ve got in the pipeline.\u201d<\/p>\n \u2018And it\u2019s been pretty amazing. I never ever thought, I never ever imagined that it would take off the way it has done.
