"Todd

Did Gary Windass (Mikey North) kill Theo Silverton (James Cartwright)? Is he having an affair with Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien)? Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) puts his detective hat on to investigate.

It speaks to just how evil Theo was that six Coronation Street residents are in the frame for his murder.

The obvious suspect is Todd himself, whose year long toxic relationship with the raging narcissist was rife with abuse, coercion and gaslighting.

However, most of Todd’s nearest and dearest are persons of interest in the case too, including his mentor and father figure, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and partner Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), close friend and adoptive daughter Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Theo’s scorned ex-wife Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson).

 "FROM

 Whodunnit? (Picture: ITV)

Coming right in at number one is bad-boy builder Gary, Theo’s employer and best mate – at least until he found out what an abusive piece of garbage he was.

The fact that Gary has killed before doesn’t exactly help his case. Nor does the fact he smashed up Theo’s van with a sledgehammer on the day he died before deleting the footage.

When the police came calling, Gary’s wife Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) covered for him by giving a false alibi.

 "Mikey

Gary is suspect number one. (Picture: ITV)

However, Gary might have been getting up to more mischief than murder that night… by doing the dirty with his old flame.

Ever since Sarah was attacked on that fateful night, she and her ex-beau have been acting pretty cosy just like old times, having lots of private conservations with each other. Gary’s even jumped down Maria’s throat for criticising her, making him seem pretty suspicious.

 "Gary

Is Sarah leaning on Gary for support… or something more? (Picture: ITV)

It doesn’t help that one of police officers investigation the case just so happens to be Sarah’s current boyfriend DS Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), who’s already hauled the bad boy builder in for questioning.

Make no mistake, Kit is gunning for Gary.

 "Kit

Kit’s got nothing on Gary… yet. (Picture: ITV)

Todd’s not having an easy time either. Devastated to learn that Summer made herself purposefully ill to avoid going to prison for Theo’s murder, the hits just kept on coming when the police discovered Todd’s phone with the fingerprints of Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) all over it.

He’s also aware that Sarah and Gary are keeping some kind of secret.

Whatever it is, it’s about to be exposed at the dinner party from hell. With Kit mulling the idea of proposing to Sarah, it’s sure to be an evening to remember.

We already know the episode will feature flashbacks and flashforwards, showing the dinner party ending with smashed glass and blood on the table cloth… but whose?

The truth is served at the dinner party in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street an as old animosities bubble under. Maria aims some bitchy comments at Sarah, while Kit does his best to get Gary alone, making pointed remarks about people’s propensity to lie.

And as Maria raises a toast to the hosts she announces that Gary and Sarah have been conducting an affair for weeks. Everyone reels.

 "Todd

Well this is awkward… (Picture: ITV)

After the dinner party disaster, odd calls to see Sarah and tells her he suspects there’s more to the situation with her and Gary than meets the eye. Will she come clean?

 "Sarah

Will Sarah be straight with Todd? (Picture: ITV)

On the street, Gary goads Kit, pointing out that he has no actual evidence against him. Gary assures Todd that there is no affair but Sarah both likes and trusts him and Kit’s jealous which is why he’s trying to pin the murder on him.

Todd tackles Sarah, wondering if Gary knows more than he’s letting on about Theo’s murder. Can Sarah help Todd find some answers?
