Looks strong as hell, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bradley also pointed to Spence\u2019s performance against Ugas, noting that many fans viewed him as the division\u2019s top fighter heading into the Crawford bout.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverybody was like, \u2018Oh, Spence this, Spence that.\u2019 Y\u2019all remember? And when he broke Ugas\u2019 eye socket. Yeah. Beat up Ugas. Everybody was like, \u2018Oh, he gonna smash on Crawford.\u2019 Now everybody talking about back then and right now everybody saying, \u2018Well, he wasn\u2019t ready.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Bradley, the bigger issue was preparation rather than any lingering effects from the crash.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason why Spence didn\u2019t look good is because his dumb ass didn\u2019t train. That\u2019s just what it is,\u201d Bradley said. \u201cBiggest fight of his career. He didn\u2019t train for it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bradley also rejected the idea that Crawford\u2019s victory should come with an asterisk because of the circumstances surrounding Spence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we can\u2019t take nothing away from Crawford and what Crawford did,\u201d said Bradley. \u201cHe the one that stayed disciplined all the way through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crawford stopped Spence in the ninth round of their undisputed welterweight championship fight on July 29, 2023, handing him the first loss of his professional career.<\/p>\n<p>Spence is scheduled to return on July 25 against former WBO junior middleweight champion Tim Tszyu in Sydney, Australia.
