Chelsea Fox<\/a>\u00a0(Zaraah Abrahams<\/a>) is going through hell in EastEnders<\/a>.<\/p>\n She\u2019s navigating the fallout of her son Jordan\u2019s (Izaiah Hagan-Brown)<\/a> tragic accident<\/a>, which saw Ian Beale<\/a>\u00a0(Adam Woodyatt<\/a>)\u00a0strike him with his car while being consumed with guilt, the crash coming after she\u2019d snapped at him<\/a> to leave her alone as she tried to pursue Zack Hudson<\/a>\u00a0(James Farrar<\/a>).<\/p>\n As Chelsea dealt with the realisation that Jordan could be paralysed for life, she also learned that her mum, Denise<\/a>\u00a0(Diane Parish<\/a>)\u00a0had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML)<\/a>, a fast-growing and aggressive type of blood cancer.<\/p>\n The news of Denise\u2019s illness did bring about the return of Chelsea\u2019s little sister, Libby Fox (Belinda Owusu)<\/a>, and, after some initial friction between the estranged sisters, Chelsea found herself leaning on Libby.<\/p>\n As they caught up, Chelsea admitted to Libby that Jordan\u2019s great-grandma and the grandma of his dad, crazed serial killer\u00a0Gray Atkins<\/a>\u2019 (Toby-Alexander Smith<\/a>), Sheila (Sheila Ruskin)<\/a>, had been attempting to financially support Jordan, sending an endless stream of cheques, none of which Chelsea had cashed.<\/p>\n \t\t With Chelsea desperate to help Jordan\u2019s rehabilitation, meaning she\u2019d need to access private physiotherapy sessions to provide him the best possible chance of regaining his ability to walk, Libby was instantly struck and took it upon herself<\/a> to contact Sheila herself, requesting her help.<\/p>\n When Chelsea found out she was livid, though upon receiving the sage advice of Eve Panesar-Unwin<\/a>\u00a0(Heather Peace<\/a>), she reconsidered her position and contacted Sheila herself, seeking a meeting between them.<\/p>\n In today\u2019s episode, Chelsea was fraught with stress, despite Libby\u2019s best attempts to calm her down, evidently uncomfortable with placing herself back in the orbit of anyone connected to Gray.<\/p>\n Nonetheless, the sisters headed to Knight Fusion, with Chelsea practically vibrating with anxiety knowing Sheila was approaching and, as it stood, unwilling to allow her any contact with Jordan.<\/p>\n \t\t When she finally arrived, Chelsea\u2019s edge remained, before she was unable to stop the words tumbling from her mouth: was Sheila still in contact with Gray?<\/p>\n Sheila confirmed that she couldn\u2019t actually remember the last time she\u2019d seen Gray in person, but her last image of her grandson was on a news report about his arrest and his multiple crimes. <\/p>\n Continuing on, she said she struggled to deal with the fact that her grandson was a stone cold serial killer who destroyed lives, and that this fact had brought her own career in law to a premature end.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tDon’t miss a Soaps scoop! Sheila, wounded, but accepting departed.<\/p>\n At the hospital, Chelsea learned from aunty Kim Fox<\/a>\u00a0(Tameka Empson<\/a>) that Ian had hired an expensive and intimidating lawyer, while Chelsea struggled to deal with Jordan\u2019s pleas to come home. Confronted with how much help Jordan might need, she called Sheila back.<\/p>\n Meeting up again later, Chelsea took the cheque, while giving Sheila a picture of Jordan to go in her purse alongside her picture of Mackenzie and Mia.
